About the work

The Burning Bush was painted straight from the window of my home, and became a living mirror of the burning bush of the Bible and the charged conflict it carries with it. The painting moves between an inner blaze and the quiet of the landscape, linking ancient biblical echoes with the bloodied reality of our own day. A charged, moving work that invites you to gaze at the fire that does not consume.

Questions and answers

Prints are made by a professional fine-art print lab, on the surface you choose: Photo Lustre: A lustre finish with a soft sheen that cuts glare. Colours stay vivid and the finest brushstrokes stay crisp. Works in almost any light. Fine Art Matte: Archival fine-art paper with a matte surface and no glare at all. The closest to a watercolour on paper: transparent washes and soft tones stay soft. Our recommendation for watercolour prints. Canvas Wrap: Canvas printed and stretched over a wooden stretcher frame, ready to hang, with no frame or glass needed. It adds texture and depth to the painting.
